Pastor Powell is a native of Albany, Georgia and has served the Harvest Temple church family since November 1995.  He is married to the former Jessica Faye Ogden and they have two children, Trey and Tori.

Pastor is an alumnus of Lee University and the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee.  He has served on many elected and appointed boards of the Church of God, both on the State and National levels.  His ministry has included preaching in state camp meetings and National Conventions in the countries of Belgium and France.

Pastor Powell believes that discipleship is one of the greatest needs in the church.  "We have been great worshippers and that is the ultimate of our service.  But we have not done well in discipling, which is the heartbeat of the church," pastor says.  "When people are discipled, they will become soul winners and they will enjoy worship at a greater level of intensity."  An intense discipleship program has been developed at the church which has revolutionized the church body.

Mark Davenport was born and raised much of his life in North Georgia.  Mark is the proud son of Edward and Carolyn Davenport.  Together they have served the Lord in ministry for the entirety of Mark's life.  Mark accepted the call of God upon his life in a North Georgia youth camp as a young teenager. He graduated from Lee University with his focus on Sociology.

Mark's interests and desires are to see God change lives of individuals in ways that they can live out daily.  Mark feels the burden to meet the daily needs of those he has the opportunity to minister to.  Mark and his wife Michelle have been in full time ministry since 1991.  They are the proud parents of their daughter Alora Dannin.  Mark currently serves as the Associate Pastor of the Harvest Temple Church of God.

Damien has been a part of Harvest Temple since birth. He is a product of being born, raised and currently working under the ministry of this local body. Damien joined the choir at the age of 13 and has been singing ever since. His passion for worship has led him outside the walls of Harvest Temple to camp meetings, youth conferences/events, festivals and services in Georgia, surrounding states and as far as New Jersey with the ministry of Clay Covered Souls.

In August of 2004, the call of God on his life directed Damien to take a lead worship position in Fayetteville, GA and served there until now leading worship for his home church as of January 1, 2006. Damien's family includes his wife, Janyse, and two sons, Deven and Gaven. Damien's love is for God, his family and the church. His belief in worship is a lifestyle of an outward expression for the continuous inward impression of God's love.

Melissa Watson is the Children's Pastor at Harvest Temple Church of God. As overseer and coordinator of various programs and ministries for children, ages 3-12, Melissa is fulfilling her life's dream. From a very early age Melissa knew she wanted to be a teacher. She majored in elementary education and soon found her place of service Assistant to the Children's Pastor at North Church in Dallas, Texas where she served for several years.

In 2003, Melissa began to feel the call to become a fulltime Children's Pastor and prayerfully began searching for where God was leading her. Doors quickly opened and God led her to Harvest Temple Church of God. Becoming the children's pastor here is the culmination of her life's dreams and the call God has placed on her life. It has been a very rewarding experience and she looks forward with great anticipation her future work with this incredible children's ministry.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and has worked with children for over ten years.

Brandon Bohannon, a native of Texas, has served as the Pastor of Student Ministries since May 2003. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Texas Tech University and is a member of Actors' Equity Association, the union for professional stage actors. Brandon has been a staff youth pastor for seven years in New Jersey and now Georgia. Brandon, along with the youth band and drama team have been regular camp and youth conference speakers in Colorado, Georgia, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Texas, and this summer will be adding Jamaica to the list, but their favorite place to minister is arround Griffin. Brandon and Kelly have two sons, Keats Davis and Kemper Dean, and a dog named Fred. Brandon would like for everyone to remember, "If it's in the game, it's in the game!"
